Data Center cooling strategy is essential. For this reason, understanding the role the server rack plays is very important. Current denser technology servers such as Blade servers generate immense heat. The type of rack you deploy will depend on the cooling methods used in your environment. The baseline kilo watt of heat output per rack varies widely depending on the type and density of equipment. This could be anywhere from 3 kilo watts to 15 kilo watts (3kW-15kW) or more per rack.

  • Consider safety first

Experts currently estimate that the rise of high density environments and the design for future equipment will result in an output of say 20 kilo watts to 50 kilo watts (20kW-50kW) per rack.

For this reason a fully perforated server rack for maximum ventilation and air flow is recommended. This is where NETWELL Server Racks deployment becomes imperative.  Netwell server racks provide 85% ventilation and adequate air flow. The front and rear doors are perforated and also comes fitted with high capacity cooling fan units.
